Foundation Scholarships
The SPC Foundation is proud to administer hundreds of scholarships to students enrolled at St. Petersburg College. The funds are provided by private gifts from generous individuals, community groups and businesses in our community and beyond.
Each scholarship has unique awarding criteria. Some scholarships require a demonstrated financial need while others are awarded based on academic merit and/or achievement in specific areas, such as the arts or community involvement. Scholarship applications for the 2013 - 2014 Academic Year will be accepted from April 15, 2013 to May 24, 2013. A completed application packet consists of the online scholarship application, answers to the essay questions, 2 letters of recommendation and a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is optional but highly recommended. Applications submitted by the deadline will remain active for the 2013-2014 academic year. To apply now, click on Submit an Application above.
After completion of the application, the Foundation will match your application with appropriate scholarships. Foundation scholarship committees determine eligibility and award amounts. You will be notified by mail if you are selected or not selected to receive a Foundation scholarship.
