What is the SPC OneCard?

The SPC OneCard is a debit card and is important for receiving financial assistance and other refunds from the college. It is an important tool for financial transactions at SPC.

All SPC students who are 18 years and older prior to the start of the semester and are taking at least one credit course are issued an SPC OneCard. Your SPC OneCard, along with complete information about the card, will be mailed to your home approximately two weeks after registering for classes so that you understand how it works and how to activate it. Students who are under age 18 the first day of classes are welcome to apply once they reach the age minimum.

ImportantYou must activate a refund preference to receive your financial aid balance or a refund. You can activate your SPC OneCard and make your refund selection on the SPC OneCard website.

When using the SPC OneCard for purchases, you should choose credit and sign your name to avoid transaction fees. If you lose your card, you will be charged a $20 replacement fee. Note that fees are subject to change.

Refunds to your SPC OneCard

SPC OneCardRefunds to your SPC OneCard occur when the amount of the disbursements received on your behalf is greater than the amount owed for tuition, fees, and the Book Line of Credit. The excess funds will be refunded to your SPC OneCard based on the choice you made when you activated the card. Refunds begin at the end of the fourth week of your classes.

Refunds are sent to the SPC OneCard by the Business Office. Students will begin receiving their financial assistance refunds if their financial assistance files are complete and awards are posted. Per Federal regulations, first-time, first year Stafford borrowers cannot receive their first loan disbursement until 30 calendar days after the first day of classes.
