Getting started at SPC

The following steps will guide you as you begin your student experience at St. Petersburg College.

  1. Apply online at MySPC and pay $40 application fee. 

  2. Request high school, GED, and/or previous college transcript(s). 

  3. If needed, apply for financial aid and/or Veteran benefits.

  4. Login to MySPC to check your e-mail, To Do List and residency status.

  5. Take the College Placement Test (CPT), if required.

  6. Meet with an advisor to discuss your educational requirements.

  7. Complete the New Student Orientation.

  8. Register and pay for classes early to get the best schedule.

  9. Get your student photo ID card from the designated area on your campus.

  10. After you receive your SPC OneCard in the mail, activate it online.

  11. Get your textbooks early for best availability.
