Developmental Reading and Writing

St. Petersburg College is committed to the "open door" policy; therefore, students are given reading and writing placement tests to insure students begin their college experience with the skills necessary to succeed. The reading and writing programs includes both traditional classroom experience as well as individualized reading and writing lab experience to insure instruction meets the needs of each student. Students will develop reading, writing and study skills to successfully continue college-level study.
