Congratulations! Graduation means you have officially and successfully completed all your degree requirements that will be recorded on your official transcript.
Graduation Candidates
You will be notified if you are a candidate for graduation via your SPC email address. If you do not receive a notification and think you should graduate at the end of the term, please contact your academic advisor who can perform a graduation check with you. We encourage you to participate in Commencement so we can formally recognize and celebrate your hard work and accomplishments.

- You must register to participate.
- Monday Nov. 10, 2025, your Name Cards deadline to be sent via mail.
- Wednesday Nov. 20, 2025, is the deadline to have your name included in the commencement program.
- Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, your Name Cards deadline to be sent via mail.
- If you did not receive a name card by mail (USPS), please visit the designated table at commencement.
- Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, registration for the commencement ceremony will be closed.
- There are no exceptions to these deadlines
In the weeks leading up to the event, you will receive additional details and updates directly to your SPC email, so be sure to check it regularly.
Honor Cord, Purchase Caps and Gowns
Honor distinctions are awarded to students enrolled in Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree programs who achieve a qualifying cumulative GPA. You can check your GPA on your unofficial transcript in MySPC. Please note that certificate programs do not qualify for honors. Visit the SPC website to verify your eligibility.Purchasing your Cap and Gown, refer to the official SPC website. You may also reach out to Barnes and Noble through your specific home campus for assistance.

Digital Diplomas are Here!
Students will receive separate text and email notifications from Parchment Digital Diploma for each diploma or certificate earned. Upon receiving the notification of your digital credential, you must review and confirm the accuracy of the information within 72 hours. Carefully read the text and email to verify that your diploma includes the correct spelling of your name and the correct mailing address.
Printed diplomas are typically mailed 15–20 days after you receive your digital copy, using the address you provided to SPC.
Student Information Verification
- Your diploma will be mailed to the Permanent Address listed in MySPC under Personal Information. Please verify that your address is correct. If it has changed, update your record.
- Your diploma will display the name listed in MySPC under Personal Information. If you would like your middle name or initial included, you may add a separate Diploma Name to your record.

Receiving Your Diploma
Once all graduation requirements for the Fall 2025 Term are verified and your degree conferred, you can expect to receive your digital diploma via text and email. If you have further questions or concerns please contact graduationquestions@spcollege.edu
You must receive Parchment Diploma notification prior to creating login. Follow the instructions to create your Parchment account. From there, you can download or share your digital diploma or certificate on social media or with family, friends and employers as many times as you’d like throughout your lifetime.
