Celebrate your milestone at our Graduation Ceremonies
The College proudly hosts several ceremonies and events to honor your hard work and achievements. These celebrations are an opportunity for students, families, and friends to come together and commemorate this special milestone.
Eligibility
These events are open to all graduates, including students who completed their degrees in the Summer term as well as Fall and Spring degree candidates from the current academic year. SPC holds two commencement ceremonies each year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring.
Important Note
Attending does not imply or confirm that all graduation requirements have been met. Be sure to consult with your advisor to confirm that all your requirements have been fulfilled.
We look forward to celebrating your success!
Commencement is the ceremonial celebration of receiving your degree or diploma, usually held at the end of the term. The ceremony is approximately 90 minutes. All graduates and guests are expected to remain until the end of the ceremony when degrees are officially conferred.
Registration
To participate in commencement, graduates must register; registration will open four to six weeks into the semester. To register, log in to Titan Hub, navigate to MySPC, select My Academics, and choose Commencement Registration. Once you've registered, event details will be sent to your SPC email account.

Other Events
In addition to collegewide Commencement, individual programs hold separate graduation events for their students. Check with your program for all planned activities and deadlines for this term.
Pinning Ceremonies
Nursing and several other health programs hold pinning ceremonies prior to graduation to signify your initiation into the profession and that you are ready to serve our community as a healthcare professional. Contact your academic department for additional information.
Early College & Early Admission Medallion Ceremony
During the Spring term, Early College and Early Admission Medallion ceremonies are held on the Friday before the collegewide graduation ceremony. This ceremony recognizes our full-time Early College and Early Admission students’ high school and college achievements, as well as their Associate of Arts degree completion. Each student receives a graduation medallion that includes both the PCS & SPC logos, which are worn the following day during the official SPC graduation ceremony. Contact your program for additional information.
