Student Parking on SPC Campuses

Parking for students is free at SPC as long as you park in spaces reserved for students, designated with white lines. Decals are required for faculty and staff spaces and a hangtag is required.

Parking fines will be given to owners of vehicles illegally parked in spaces designated for handicapped, visitors, hybrid vehicles, motorcycles or faculty/staff. Parking spaces are assigned by color code as follows:

  • Yellow lined spaces: faculty and staff
  • White lined spaces: student parking
  • Green lined spaces: visitor parking
  • Blue lined spaces: handicapped parking

The speed limit on campus is 10 miles per hour and speeders may be ticketed. Any individual who operates a vehicle in a manner that might endanger the life and/or property of another while on campus is subject to a fine and/or disciplinary action. If any vehicle is to be left overnight on campus for any reason, campus security should be notified immediately at 727-791-2560. SPC assumes no responsibility or liability for theft or damages occurring to vehicles or other personal property while on college property.

Faculty and Staff Vehicle Registration

SPC Faculty and Staff can register their vehicle online. Your vehicle registration decal will be sent to you through the college's inter-office mail system.

To ensure your registration decal is delivered in a timely fashion, please note your building and room/area in the note/comment section of the online application.
