2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade

Downtown St. Petersburg


Hey There Titans!

SPC is in need of volunteers to participate in the 2025 MLK Day Parade in Downtown St. Petersburg on Monday, January 20th! In years past, we had a huge turnout from the SPC faculty, staff, and students! This event is a lot of fun and is a great way to showcase to our community who we are, what we do, and the programs we offer. Additionally, as of now, here are some of the details that we have regarding this event:

Meeting Time

Approximately 8:30 AM on Monday, January 20th, 2025

Meeting location

The SPC Chevy Traverse will be parked along Bay Shore Dr. NE – somewhere near Al Lang Stadium/Mahaffey Theater/Dali Museum.  Unfortunately, we do not have an exact location of the float. Our lineup number will not be provided to us until the day of the parade.

Dress Attire

Wear comfortable appropriate clothing (closed-toe shoes) since the parade route is long. Also, wear an SPC shirt if possible. If you do not have one, we will provide you with one on the day of. Please note that shirts and sizes are limited so they are first come, first served.

Parking

Parking is available around Downtown St. Petersburg. The parade will start near Bayshore Dr. and end at Tropicana Field.  We recommend you get dropped off and picked up if at all possible.

Refreshments

Water and light snacks will be provided.
