Program Summary
This program is offered as a Fully Online program.
Note: Students residing within 250 miles of an SPC campus will be required to present in-person at the end of their Capstone course and should plan accordingly.
Our courses help students understand the broad concepts and systems involved in sustainability initiatives. Students with this knowledge can be valuable contributors to the growing sustainability needs worldwide. Sustainability managers will be needed in many vital sectors including: Manufacturing, Construction, Government, Military Contracting and International Business. Various Associate Degree programs are good foundational program feeds to the Sustainability BAS such as Engineering AS, Building Construction AS, Environmental Science AS, as well as the Hospitality and Tourism AS. Completion of various support courses or program courses may align or earn a certification or license.

Graduation Requirements
G.P.A.: A grade of "C" or better is required in all courses.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE: Two years in high school or two semesters of college instruction in a single foreign language.
CIVIC LITERACY: As per Florida Rule 6A-10.04213, baccalaureate degree students entering a Florida College System (FCS) or State University System (SUS) institution in the 2021-2022 academic school year and thereafter must demonstrate competency through successful completion of a civic literacy course AND by achieving a passing score on the Florida Civic Literacy Examination (FCLE).

CONTINUING YOUR EDUCATION
At SPC, our A.S. degrees in Building Design and Construction Management and Engineering Technology transfer to our Sustainability Management B.A.S. Degree. The Green Innovations Certificate is part of our A.S. degree in Business Administration and counts as part of the lower level requirements for our Sustainability Management B.A.S. Degree.

During this camp, which runs July 8-18 on the Clearwater Campus, you'll use VR/AR and 3D printing to create real and innovative solutions to social and environmental problems. Plus, you could earn 3 college credits for attending!
