Shelah Vera

As a Study Abroad student, Shelah travelled to Negril, Jamaica as part of a 2015 trip aimed at improving children's literacy in Jamaica.
"I would recommend everyone to take the opportunity to study abroad one day, especially to Jamaica! This experience has contributed to my education, by exposing me to the world outside of the U.S. Now I feel more prepared to teach and to accommodate students from other countries, because this trip was so powerful and beneficial to my education."
