New High School Families
Through this part-time program, students can take college courses at SPC or on their high school campus, earning credits toward both high school graduation and a college degree. There are no costs for application, tuition, or required textbooks for Pinellas students taking courses on SPC campuses. We are excited to offer you the chance to get a head start on qualifying for the Dual Enrollment Program for the next school year. This opportunity is made possible through a partnership between St. Petersburg College and Pinellas County Schools. You can earn high school and college credits simultaneously at no cost to you!
Who is eligible?
Students enrolled in grades 6-12 in Pinellas County public schools, private schools and home-education programs, and who meet the qualifying high school GPA and College Placement Test score requirements. Pinellas County Schools students must have at least a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA based on a minimum of seven (7) high school credits in a combination of math, science, English or social studies.
NOTE: Students under the age of 15 must meet with the Home Campus Associate Provost.
