At SPC, we take our mission very seriously of making sure that the entire SPC family - students and employees - as well as the surrounding communities, have what they need to lead a healthy and productive life. Below you'll find several programs and partnerships that can help you finish your education.
Guaranteed Transfer Plans
Eligible students get guaranteed admission into select programs at the University of South Florida System or Florida A&M University through the FUSE and Ignite programs. Students earn their associate degree at SPC, then transfer to one of these universities. This means you'll spend less on your four-year degree than attending a university from day one.
Mechatronics Electromechanical Technician Training (METT)
SPC is now offering free or low-cost Mechatronics Electromechanical Technician Training (METT) in a hybrid format through a grant from the State of Florida's Department of Economic Opportunity. The METT grant offers nine courses at SPC's Workforce Institute and two additional courses at Pinellas Technical College.
