If you are enrolled in a class and you decide that you no longer need or want that class, you must drop that class by the last day to drop with a refund or you will be responsible for the charges. A class must be dropped by 11 p.m. on the last day to drop with a refund in order to avoid academic or financial penalties.

It is your responsibility to know the Last Day to Drop with a Refund for each course you are enrolled in for the term. If you are uncertain of that date, it is printed on your personal Schedule and Fees Statement which you may access in MySPC.

Please remember that the amount of some of your financial assistance may be based on enrollment. The amounts may be adjusted up or down based on your enrollment on the Last Day to Drop with a Refund. If your financial aid does not cover the total amount of your charges, you will be responsible for the balance by the due date. Future registration and official transcripts will not be available until the balance is paid in full.

If you fail to begin attendance in all courses that you are enrolled in, your financial assistance will be adjusted to reflect your non-attendance. If you are considered a No Show (NOSH), you will be charged for the class, but you will not be eligible for financial aid for the class.
