FIRST DAY BOOK PROGRAM Partnership

First Day is a partnership between SPC, Barnes & Noble and the Publishers to bring course materials to students on the first day of class through Canvas at a discounted rate.

Students can opt out and purchase materials elsewhere if they choose.

When you log in to Canvas, click on course materials and follow the steps to access your eBook and labs.

Materials are available three days before a class starts.

If you are paying for your books out of pocket, your SPC student account will be billed approximately two weeks after your class begins.
If you are using a 3rd party vendor, the bookstore will invoice the vendor.

When you log in to Canvas, choose to Opt Out of the program. The opt out deadline is one week after the first day of class. If you opt out, you are responsible for purchasing the materials for the course.
