Donors and Students Celebrate at 20th Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Donors, students, alumni, community partners and college leadership celebrated the awarding of over $1.8 million in scholarships to more than 2,000 students during the 2018-19 academic year at the St. Petersburg College Foundation's 20th Annual Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon on March 27.
More than 210 guests attended the event, Emceed by Bay News 9's Veronica Cintron and sponsored for the 8th consecutive year by RBC Wealth Management. Generous donors had the chance to meet and talk with their scholarship recipients and see first-hand the positive impact of their investment.
SPC President Tonjua Williams closed out the program and thanked the donors, SPC Foundation Board of Directors, Board of Trustees and community leaders who support the students and the overall mission and vision of the college saying, "If it were not for you, we would have many students who would give up on their dreams."
