Education A.A. Transfer Plan - SPCSPC's Prekindergarten/Primary Education A.A. transfer plan is intended for students who want to pursue the bachelor's degree in Prekindergarten/Primary Education (age 3 through grade 3) at St. Petersburg College. Students who complete these requirements graduate from SPC with an Associate in Arts Degree and meet the state-mandated pre-requisites of their four-year major.

A degree in Prekindergarten Primary education can prepare you for a career in teaching, education administration or tutoring services.

Program Summary

This Program of Study is intended to assist in the transfer advising process. Students following a transfer plan (PKPED-TR) will graduate with an Associate of Arts degree from SPC. The following requirements include and are intended to prepare students for transfer into the Prekindergarten/Primary Education (age 3 through grade 3) with Infused ESOL and Reading Endorsements baccalaureate program at SPC or an equivalent in the State of Florida (CIP 44.0401).

You should always consult with your SPC advisor to determine if your anticipated program is limited access and to ensure the correct coursework is being taken (including any foreign language requirements), and see if additional requirements exist (e.g., minimum GPA).
