Future Titans Can Attend a Spring Into Enrollment Webinar and Apply to SPC for FREE

Future Titans can apply to St. Petersburg College (SPC) for FREE if they attend one of the College’s Spring Into Enrollment webinars between Nov. 12-14. If a future student joins any one of five webinars and then applies to SPC, the College waives the $40 application fee. Future students have until Friday, Nov. 15, at midnight, to complete the application and get the fee waived after they attend a webinar.

“We are excited to have potential students check out our Spring Into Enrollment webinar, an opportunity to explore pathways to success at SPC,” said Jacob Wortock, Director of Recruitment Services at SPC. “Attendees will learn how to get started, explore funding options, discover a variety of academic programs and career opportunities, and complete their application at no cost. We can’t wait for everyone to take the first step toward getting a better job and a better life!”

The seminars will answer questions regarding admissions, career possibilities, SPC’s bachelor’s degrees and certificates, the application and registration processes, ways to pay for college, and much more.

The five Spring Into Enrollment webinars include:

  • Why SPC and How to Get Started: Nov 12, 6 to 6:30 p.m.; and Nov. 13, noon to 12:30 p.m.
  • Better Jobs! Better Lives! Featuring Pinellas County Schools: Nov. 13, 6 to 6:30 p.m.
  • How to Pay for College: Nov. 14, noon to 12:30 p.m.
  • SPC Baccalaureate Showcase: Nov. 14, 6 to 6:30 p.m.

The webinar How to Pay for College will feature SPC’s Financial Aid experts will cover scholarships, grants, payment plans, and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA).

A webinar with the Pinellas County School (PCS) Board will feature Dr. Jen Fernandez, Director of the Office of School Partnerships at SPC, and Instructional Recruiter Deb Cucchiara with Pinellas County Schools. These two experts will discuss what PCS seeks in new recruits and how SPC’s College of Education programs prepare students for their careers.
